Love on a Leash®

The San Diego Inland chapter was founded in 2007, and is one of three San Diego area chapters. The Inland chapter coordinates multiple group visits each month at senior living facilities, hospitals, schools and libraries in Poway, Escondido, Rancho Bernardo and surrounding cities; many members visit additional sites independently. We also participate in community events and especially love the Rancho Penasquitos Fair sponsored by our local library.

Meet Our Leader

Annie Zucker has been the San Diego Inland chapter leader since May of 2019; she lives in Escondido and is certified with Bette (Shetland Sheepdog), Molly & Smokey (Rough Collies). Annie is a retired teacher and when she is not volunteering with Love on a Leash, she enjoys Agility and Rally with her dogs. Her favorite part about volunteering with Love on a Leash is watching her dogs bring smiles to the faces they visit.
