Meet Our Leader
Mandi Broderick lives in Morehead, KY and has been training and competing with dogs for many years. Mandi shares her home with 3 Golden Retrievers (Goose, Merlin, and Kairi), 1 American Cocker Spaniel (Atlas), and 1 Standard Poodle (Calypso). Mandi certified her first therapy dog, Goose, in 2018 and has been active in the therapy dog community ever since. Mandi and Goose have volunteered in nursing homes, libraries, elementary schools, college campuses and many other locations. Goose plans to retire within the next year and Mandi will begin the certification process with Calypso. Mandi is an accredited dog trainer with the IAABC and when not volunteering she loves to compete in dog sports including Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt, FastCAT, and UpDog Frisbee. Her favorite part of Love on a Leash is seeing smiles light up on people's faces when they encounter therapy dogs.
