Love on a Leash®

The Pleasant Valley chapter was founded in September 2007. The chapter coordinates multiple group visits each month at senior living facilities, hospitals, schools and libraries in Camarillo and surrounding towns; many members visit additional sites independently. We also participate in community events and take advantage of any opportunity to share our pets. We especially love visiting high school and college students before finals week!

Meet Our Leader

Margie Bradley has been the Pleasant Valley chapter leader since October of 2019. She lives in Camarillo and has 3 grown children and a granddaughter. She was first certified with her Pug, Oscar, in May 2013; she is currently certified with Sam the Pug, who is something of a local celebrity. Margie is a Pug aficionado who has owned Pugs for 35 years; when not volunteering with Love on a Leash, she enjoys hiking and reading. Her favorite part about volunteering with Love on a Leash is meeting people of all ages and backgrounds.
