Love on a Leash®

The St. Charles County chapter was founded in April 2010. The chapter coordinates multiple group visits each month at hospitals, med parks (outpatient centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, schools, and libraries – all in the St. Charles City and County areas. Recently we’ve begun attending vaccination events for kids aged 5-11 years old as well.

Meet Our Leader

Linda Bolen has been the St. Charles County chapter leader since October of 2013. She lives in Augusta, MO with her husband Doug and is currently certified with Ruby and Sally who are Chow Chows. She previously had her Chows Trinity and Abby certified as well. When Linda is not volunteering with Love on a Leash, she enjoys baking, watching movies and tv, trivia, and playing with her Chows. Her favorite part about volunteering with Love on a Leash is sharing the love of dogs with the community.
