Wabash Valley

The Wabash Valley chapter was founded in November 2018. The chapter coordinates multiple group visits at senior living facilities, libraries (Read to Rover), hospitals, handicapped adult day facilities, local elementary and high schools in Terre Haute, IN and the surrounding Wabash Valley. We have been called by local schools following tragic events to help console students, staff and parents, and many members also schedule events independently. We participate in several community events such as National Night Out, Dog Days of Summer, Walk Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Awareness Event, and everyone’s favorite – the annual Night to Shine, which has become a 2-day event!
